ABOUT ABOUT

Jerry Douglas, one of the most awarded bluegrass artists in history, honors his heroes at the Bluegrass Music Hall of Fame & Museum March 28.  Douglas is the host of a music event in Owensboro, Kentucky celebrating the most recent inductees into the International Bluegrass Music Association Hall of Fame including The Kentucky Colonels consisting of Roland White, Roger Bush, LeRoy Mack, and Billy Ray Latham.  Also inducted this year are Bill Emerson and Mike Aldridge.  With the exception of Aldridge and Latham, who passed away in 2012 and 2018 respectively, all the inductees will be present at the March 28 event.

The International Bluegrass Music Association officially inducted the new Hall of Fame members as part of their annual award show in Raleigh, NC last September, but the March event Owensboro focuses solely on these artists and their contributions to bluegrass music.

The evening will feature performances by Jerry Douglas, Jeff Hanna (founding member of the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, Tim O'Brien, Michael Cleveland, Alison Brown, Mark Schatz, Jeff White, and County Current:  The US Navy Band.  Tickets are $48 for VIP Seating and $38 for Reserved Seating.  Doors open at 5 pm, and the event begins at 7 pm.  Join us for this historic night celebrating the most recent inductees into the Hall of Fame!
